Employees of the Moscow shipyard in Nagatinsky Zaton have completed the assembly and welding of hull blocks for two electric vessels of the "Moscow 1.0" project. This was reported by Maksim Liksutov, head of the capital's Department of Transport.
In the near future, shipbuilders will paint the vessels, tighten cables, lay insulation in the compartments, install switchboard equipment and auxiliary systems.
The first 2 vessels being assembled at the shipyard will be launched as early as 2026.
According to him, modern Moscow-made electric vessels will be launched on river routes. They will increase passenger comfort and reduce the impact on the environment.
The Moscow shipyard for the construction and technical maintenance of electric vessels began operating in 2025. By 2030, about 40 vessels are planned to be built here.
