The issue of canceling roaming between the Russian Federation and Belarus has not yet been resolved; some nuances need to be finalized. This was announced by Sergey Glazyev, State Secretary of the Union State (SG).
According to him, citizens of the two countries can now use the tariffs they are accustomed to.
There are still many nuances to overcome: special services, access to the Internet.
The task of canceling roaming "turned out to be more difficult", it was not possible to do it immediately, Glazyev added. As a result, they decided to expand the volume of preferential packages so that users would not notice the difference when crossing the border, he explained.
In addition, a problem arose with the identification of citizens of Belarus so that they could use mobile communications in Russia.
A decision was made to undergo identification while in Belarus, through a gateway on the Russian State Services portal.
Such a "main direction" will be implemented, the State Secretary of the Union State summarized.
