The Russian «Kalashnikov» concern has fully supplied the customer with KUB-2 guided loitering munitions (GLM) under the state contract for 2025, the concern's press service reported.
«KUB-2» are produced with warheads of different weights:
- Small-class GLM (engage manpower and unarmored vehicles)
- Medium-class GLM (suitable for strikes against enemy UAV launch positions, helicopter pads, and lightly armored vehicles)
«KUB-2» are maneuverable and equipped with optoelectronic systems.
Operators can guide «KUB-2» to moving targets and engage them in manual or automatic mode (thanks to the onboard computing complex with AI elements). The press service added that the strike munition is highly effective, especially when used in conjunction with the «Skat-350M» reconnaissance drone.
«Kalashnikov» supplies new-generation GLMs to the Russian Armed Forces and can also export them.
