Testing of the KamAZ-4290 medium-class bus has begun in Moscow. This was reported by the Moscow Department of Transportation.
The vehicle will be tested on suburban route 1594 of the "Moscow - Region" project.
We are planning to purchase such vehicles for operation on suburban routes in the Moscow region.
The bus has a capacity of up to 70 people. The KamAZ-4290 features a low-floor design at the entrance. Inside, there is a storage area, a folding ramp, and spaces for passengers with limited mobility.
The bus interior is equipped with USB ports for charging smartphones and bright media screens.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that more than half of the KamAZ buses produced in 2025 will be powered by gas engine fuel.
