In 2025, the production of armored weapons in Russia increased by 2.2 times compared to 2022. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting on the draft state armaments program for 2027–2036.
According to him, state support measures made it possible to strengthen the material and technical base of the defense industry enterprises in a short time.
Also, the production of light armored vehicles increased by 3.7 times, military aviation equipment - by 4.6 times, automotive equipment - by 5.7 times, missile and artillery weapons - by 9.6 times, radar warfare equipment - by 12.5 times.
In addition, the production of personal protective equipment increased by 17.9 times, ammunition and weapons - by more than 22 times.
