In Saratov, due to a temporary shutdown of CHP-5 on December 25 from 10:00, the supply of heat and hot water to residential buildings and social institutions was limited. This is reported by the regional prosecutor's office.
Residents of 573 apartment buildings and 44 institutions were left without heat and light. The shutdown affected three districts of the city — Leninsky, Kirovsky and Frunzensky, as a result of which more than 85 thousand people suffered.
A representative of the prosecutor's office of the Leninsky district went to the scene to monitor the accident elimination process. The work to eliminate the consequences is carried out by "T Plus". The prosecutor's office intends to give a legal assessment of the actions of communal services and consider the possibility of recalculating fees for unrendered services for all affected customers.
The press service of the company reported that "T Plus" energy workers have already restored the operation of the CHP equipment and the supply of hot water. During the restoration work, the temperature in the houses did not fall below the standard values. The station is functioning normally, but it will take several more hours to fully restore the supply.
