The automated hangar-type GTN-16 gas pumping unit has a capacity of 16 MW. It was created on the basis of the PS-90GP-2 industrial gas turbine engine manufactured by UEC-Perm Engines.

The unit incorporates the principles of deep automation and economical operation with maximum performance. GTN-16 fully complies with the technical and operational requirements of the gas industry and is equipped with a modern remote control system with a high degree of protection.

Andrey Vorobyov, General Director of UEC-Engineering, stated that the corporation produces a wide range of gas turbine equipment, which is used in the construction of key gas production facilities in Russia.

16 MW gas pumping units are among the most demanded at the largest fields in Russia. UEC-Engineering will supply the equipment in several stages, the first four GTN-16 units will be delivered in 2026. With the commissioning of all seven units, the total capacity of UEC equipment at the Chayandinskoye field will exceed 300 MW.
