Belarusian MLRS "Polonez-M" surpassed HIMARS in firing range

The basic version of the system is capable of hitting targets at a range of up to 300 km

Belarusian military personnel have tested an upgraded multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) "Polonez-M" with an increased firing range. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the republic.

The head of the department, Viktor Khrenin, reported to President Alexander Lukashenko on the conducted launches of the MLRS.

As a reminder, the "Polonez" MLRS on the MZKT-7930 wheeled chassis carries eight guides with various 301 mm caliber missiles.

The maximum firing range allows hitting targets at a distance of up to 300 km, which exceeds the standard shells of the American HIMARS complex with ATACMS missiles. The Ministry of Defense of Belarus did not specify what exact range of destruction was achieved during the tests.
