UAV control may be included in TRP standards in Russia

Putin instructed the government to prepare relevant proposals

Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a list of instructions following a meeting of the Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports. This was reported in the press service of the Kremlin.

The government needs to submit proposals on including a drone control test in the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex "Ready for Labor and Defense" (TRP). The report must be prepared no later than April 15, 2026. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has been appointed as the responsible person.

The initiative to include UAV control in the TRP standards belongs to the head of the executive committee of the People's Front, Mikhail Kuznetsov. According to him, drones are of great interest to young people.

This is a combination of military affairs, sports and a labor specialty.
