Russians Will Be Allowed to Report Cyber Fraud Through "Gosuslugi"

Fraudulent websites will be promptly blocked

Citizens of Russia will be able to report cyber fraud using the "Gosuslugi" portal. This was announced in the office of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Grigorenko, commenting on the second package of legislative measures to combat fraud.

This mechanism will help automatically inform banks, telecom operators, and digital platforms about the actions of criminals. In addition, artificial intelligence (AI) technologies will help telecom operators identify suspicious calls. Similar algorithms are already used in business circles to combat fraud.

A ban is introduced on the dissemination of information aimed at deceiving users and stealing data, as well as mechanisms for extrajudicial, prompt blocking of fraudulent websites.
