Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) has shipped another batch of freight rolling stock to its customers. As it became known, among the recipients are the Federal Freight Company (FGK) and the Transgarant leasing company.
According to ROLLINGSTOCK analysts, the main volume of production in 2025 falls on 12-196-02 gondola cars, as well as 15-150-04 oil and gasoline tanks. It is separately noted that this year the plant also began serial delivery of 12-5991 "Ural" gondola cars, an order for which was placed back in August.
At the same time, there is a steady increase in activity from the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK). For January–October 2025, it contracted 11 thousand new freight cars, which is 26% higher than the final figure for the entire 2024. At the same time, almost 6 thousand units of rolling stock were processed in the second half of the year - against 5 thousand in the first half of the year.
In addition, in the first ten months of 2024, 13.1 thousand wagons have already been received by customers from GTLK, which is also 20% higher than the result of the previous year.
