Lada Reaches Yemen: Official Sales Begin in the Capital of the Middle East's Poorest Country

The model range includes the entire current lineup: Vesta, Granta, Niva, and commercial versions of the cars

An official Lada dealership has opened in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen, marking an unexpected expansion of the brand's reach. Al-Qaili Auto Trading Company has become the distributor of AvtoVAZ vehicles in the country, with deliveries organized through the Russian manufacturer's distribution network in the UAE.

According to information on the dealer's website, Yemeni customers are offered almost the entire current Lada model range: Vesta, Granta, Largus, Niva Legend, Niva Travel, Aura, as well as sports and commercial versions of the cars. Prices for the cars have not yet been disclosed.

Yemen is considered one of the poorest and most unsafe countries in the world, but AvtoVAZ continues to actively expand its export presence outside of traditional regions. Earlier in 2025, the company's head announced that new markets included not only Yemen, but also Serbia.

Entering non-standard markets demonstrates the Russian automaker's readiness for global expansion and the search for new customers. For Yemen, the opening of an official Lada dealership increases the availability of cars.
