New domestic servo drive production for UAVs to be launched in the Sverdlovsk region

NewLink Company received a state grant of 300 million rubles

The Sverdlovsk region continues to develop the production of unmanned systems. The governor of the region, Denis Pasler, said that the assembly of large-scale production of domestic servo drives will begin in the region. The grant for production was received by NewLink Company - it will amount to 300 million rubles.

It is important to gradually create a complete infrastructure that allows us to independently produce components and configure the UAV maintenance system. This work is carried out, including within the framework of the national project "Unmanned Aviation Systems".

The Governor noted that NewLink Company won the competitive selection of the National Technology Initiative Foundation. According to him, the production of servo drives will allow replacing imported components for unmanned aerial vehicles. He expressed hope that tens of thousands of units of products will be assembled annually.

Production of components for UAVs

Until 2022, NewLink Company was engaged in the development of onboard radio-electronic equipment and servo drives. Then, the specialists focused their efforts on creating unmanned aviation. NewLink develops and manufactures three UAV models: the Skat-10 reconnaissance drone, the K-5 jet-strike device, and the kamikaze drone based on the American trophy drone.
