The Russian concern "Kalashnikov" has transferred a large batch of mass-size models (MMG) of the AK-12 assault rifle of the 2023 model for retail sale and use for educational purposes. This was reported in the press service of the concern.
The high demand for MMG is due to in-depth career guidance activities in educational institutions in Russia.
The production of the AK-12 model is parallel to the production of combat small arms as part of the implementation of the state defense order.
About the AK-12 model
The MMG AK-12 is a copy of the assault rifle, which features thoughtful ergonomics. The model allows the user to switch the safety, cock and release the firing mechanism, perform incomplete disassembly and assembly. The machine gun is not considered a weapon, so it does not require a license.
