The Russian company "H2 Tech" has received a certificate of type approval for the head sample of the innovative cryogenic tank container CryoSafe-42. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS).
RS specialists approved the technical documentation and also supervised the manufacture and testing of the container. The equipment is ready for mass production.
About the CryoSafe-42 container
The tank container with screen-vacuum insulation is designed for temporary storage and transportation of liquefied hydrogen at a temperature of -253.
CryoSafe-42 tanks can be used for transportation by:
- water
- rail
- road transport
Advantages of CryoSafe-42:
- non-draining cargo storage for more than 30 days
- body strength, which is important for loads that occur during reloading, securing and stacking
