The Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) produced by the Kalashnikov Concern (part of the Rostec Group) is a powerful means of protecting important facilities from aerial threats. The company revealed which targets the Thor combat crews managed to shoot down.
"Thors" have repeatedly successfully hit Bayraktar TB2 strike drones, HIMARS MLRS missiles, JDAM guided bomb kits, Switchblade 600 tactical loitering munitions, Storm Shadow missiles, and many others.
Kalashnikov reminded that the Tor-M2 is a highly maneuverable combat vehicle on an excellent tracked chassis that is not afraid of any off-road conditions. The complex develops a speed of up to 80 km/h on the highway, and 30 km/h on the ground.
At the same time, the Tor-M2, despite ten years of operation in combat conditions, has not yet exhausted the possibilities for modernization. The system is constantly being improved with new electronic warfare systems and additional armor.
Military expert Viktor Murakhovsky noted that in most cases, one missile is enough to destroy the target.
