The Kalashnikov concern has signed new contracts for the production and supply of KUB-2 guided loitering munitions (UBB) and KUB-10 guided munitions (UB). Preparation of production sites for the execution of orders has already begun. This was reported in the press service of the concern.
KUB-2 strike drones are presented with different combat units in terms of mass. The small class model is designed to engage manpower and unarmored military equipment.
The middle class KUB-2 is designed to strike enemy personnel, launch positions of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems, helicopter basing areas, as well as unarmored and lightly armored military equipment.
The KUB-2 kamikaze drone has high maneuverability and is equipped with optoelectronic systems. This allows it to be guided to moving targets in manual or automatic modes using an onboard computing complex with elements of artificial intelligence. KUB-2 is also effective against electronic warfare (EW) equipment.
KUB-10 allows destroying unarmored military equipment, armored personnel carriers, command posts, air defense and missile defense facilities. It can also destroy radio reconnaissance equipment, rear support facilities and field ammunition depots.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that footage appeared of the first combat use of the KUB-10E guided munition from the Kalashnikov concern.
