The new BAZ S34A10 tractor has been transferred to industrial operation at Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg. This is the first unit of the vehicle received by a real operator.
Before being handed over, the BAZ S34A10 traveled over 5,000 km. The route was from the factory in St. Petersburg to Novy Urengoy. At the 4,000 km mark in Yugorsk, the vehicle underwent its first scheduled maintenance.
This tractor will be used to transport goods as part of a road train with an increased gross weight in difficult road conditions. Over six months, it is planned to evaluate the operational characteristics and consumer properties of the vehicle, including the cost of ownership.
The BAZ truck manufacturing plant in Shushary covers an area of 20.9 thousand square meters. The company operates on a full cycle — from development to testing and production.
The level of localization at the plant exceeds 90%. In 2026, it is planned to produce 600 units of equipment, and within three years to increase production to 2 thousand units of vehicles per year.
