The software of Russian aircraft differs from the versions requiring updates according to Airbus's instructions

The Airbus A320 family aircraft in the fleet of the Aeroflot Group airlines fully comply with safety requirements and do not need software updates. This was reported in the press service of the carrier.

Earlier, Airbus announced that about six thousand A320 family aircraft worldwide require urgent replacement of software that is vulnerable to solar radiation.

Aeroflot explained that the software used on the group's aircraft, including 93 Aeroflot aircraft and 26 Rossiya airlines, has a different configuration and is not subject to this vulnerability.
