The State Military-Industrial Committee (SMIC) of Belarus is working on a list of parts for the Russian fifth-generation light fighter Su-75 Checkmate, which will be produced in the republic, the agency's press service reported.
The SMIC noted that the production of components and assemblies for the aircraft is planned at the "558th Aviation Repair Plant" in the Brest region, as well as other, as yet unnamed, structures.
The necessary roadmaps for the implementation of the project are being prepared in parallel.
Earlier, it was suggested that Oboronnye Initsiativy, known for the production of the Talisman modular electronic warfare system, would also be involved in the construction of the Su-75.
Meanwhile, alleged technical characteristics of the export version of the Su-75 Checkmate have appeared online.
