The developers of the "Quadcosim" simulator have introduced an update with a new tactical mode called "Anti-UAV," focused on protecting civilian infrastructure from aerial threats. In this mode, operators can practice the complete cycle of countering drones: from detecting and tracking the target to guiding and engaging it in the air.
The update includes 15 new aircraft-type targets simulating various threats, as well as a completely redesigned map based on an oil refinery in Sochi. This allows for training scenarios that closely resemble real-world operating conditions for air defense systems at critical facilities.
The first training sessions in the new mode have already taken place: over 120 operators and cadets tested interception scenarios as part of existing educational programs. According to the developers, the introduction of "Anti-UAV" significantly improves the effectiveness of training specialists responsible for air defense at civilian facilities.
