President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko instructed the new General Director of the Minsk Tractor Plant (MTZ), Taras Murug, to develop "the best super tractor in the world" and more actively promote Belarusian equipment for export. He stated this at a working meeting in Minsk.
According to the Belarusian leader, MTZ should strengthen its work on product quality and expansion of foreign supplies. Lukashenko is confident that the global market remains open to Belarusian-made equipment.
The whole world needs our tractors. Sell. If something doesn't work out in a certain period of time, focus on quality. Produce a super tractor that is the best in the world, and sell it a little more expensive.
The President emphasized that export sales are a priority for managers at all levels. He paid special attention to the effectiveness of foreign business trips of officials.
Went - how many tractors, combines, seeders, winnowers, cultivators, disc harrows did you sell? How much did you sell? Otherwise, why did you go there? It concerns everyone. Both heads of parliament, and all senior officials.
Earlier, MTZ and the Kazakh company KamLit signed an agreement on cooperation aimed at developing joint production of spare parts and components for Belarus tractors.
