Thus, he reacted to the statements of Sverdlovsk deputy Alexander Ivachev, who stated about the alleged reduction and dismissal of working personnel at UVZ.

Uralvagonzavod has never introduced layoffs, these are attacks. They are trying to shake us up and restrain the conveyor in various ways. We are currently recruiting, we urgently need two thousand people at the moment.

Against this background, it became known that Uralvagonzavod received an order for gondola cars in a falling market, which "Perviy Tehnicheskiy" also wrote about.

The specific customer and the volume of production at the plant were not disclosed. At the same time, they clarified that they would supply gondola cars of model 12-196-02, with an axial load of 25 tons and produced in series since 2014. Shipment will begin in the first quarter of 2026.

It is worth recalling that the flagship products of UVZ are advanced T-90M "Proryv" tanks, as well as modernized T-72B3M.
