Lada Aura started working in a taxi in Russia

The first instances of the sedan were spotted in Moscow

The first instances of the sedan were spotted in Moscow — a Wroom subscriber photographed a yellow Aura with a branded design in the Tagansky district of the capital. Previously, there was no mass entry of the model into the taxi industry, although AvtoVAZ initially counted on interest from taxi services.

Rates for Lada Aura vary by region. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, it is allowed to transport passengers at the "Comfort" rate, while in a number of other cities the sedan already corresponds to the "Comfort Plus" level.

Lada Aura is an extended D-class sedan based on Lada Vesta with improved comfort for second-row passengers. The car is equipped with a 1.8-liter engine with a capacity of 122 hp and a CVT, has a length of 4690 mm and a wheelbase of 2885 mm, which makes it convenient for urban and intercity trips in a taxi.

The appearance of Aura in taxi fleets may become a convenient alternative to foreign models in the "Comfort" and "Comfort Plus" segments, offering passengers a sufficient level of comfort at an affordable price and stimulating the development of the domestic auto industry in the taxi service market.
