The Belarusian Automobile Plant has opened a modernized workshop for the assembly and testing of automobiles and tractors (CSIAT). This was reported by the company's press service.
The improved workshop will increase the production of 130 and 220-ton dump trucks by 30%.
The conveyor length has increased to 130 meters, and now it accommodates 9 machines instead of 6. In addition, an in-house developed information system has been implemented, which tracks the quality and assembly process of mining equipment in detail. Ergonomic workplaces are equipped with computers providing production data and meet labor protection requirements.
According to Andrei Kovalev, Technical Director of the enterprise, the CSIAT has been equipped with an information management and monitoring system. Now the quality of assembly, the availability of components, and the technical condition of the line can be monitored in real time.
The BelAZ CSIAT was built in the late 1970s. The comprehensive reconstruction took place for the first time in the entire history of the workshop.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that BelAZ showed a new generation cabin.
