The company "RT-Tekhpriemka" (part of Rostec) has developed a digital platform Robot Management System (RMS) for managing industrial robots and equipment from various manufacturers. The IT solution is being tested at one of the enterprises, the state corporation's press service reported.
The system provides centralized control of technological processes through a "single window" interface, allowing synchronization of the operation of heterogeneous equipment and automation of production operations.
Robot Management System combines:
- industrial robots
- controllers
- sensors
- cameras
- external IT services
- computer vision systems and AI modules
The platform monitors equipment utilization, records failures, and evaluates production efficiency in real time. Thanks to the intuitive interface and standard setting templates, staff can easily master the management of Robot Management System.
Vladlen Shorin, General Director of "RT-Tekhpriemka", stated that factories often depend on software suppliers for robots. His company's development solves this problem, since equipment can be managed from a single center.
This speeds up the launch of production lines, but also changes the approach to automation in general — enterprises will gain flexibility and reduce costs.
Robot Management System was created as part of the industrial robotization strategy. The platform was registered at the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS).
