Il-76 military transport aircraft appeared at the parade in Baku

Azerbaijan shifted its focus from Soviet to Western weaponry

On Saturday, November 8, a Victory Parade was held in Baku, where Azerbaijan presented new models of military equipment recently supplied to the country's army. The Russian representation turned out to be modest.

The domestic military-industrial complex was represented by the Il-76 transport aircraft. Together with it, the C-27J military transport aircraft, jointly produced by Italy and the USA, flew over the capital of the republic.

The prevailing role in the troops of Azerbaijan was played by the equipment of the Western military-industrial complex - Turkish Bayraktar-TB2 drones, Israeli Hero-120 ammunition, Orbiter-5 reconnaissance drones and others.

At the same time, Russian Tor-M2E anti-aircraft missile systems, the Belarusian version of the Shilka modernization, and an armored truck with a combat module based on TATRA were noticed in the ground component at the parade,

Last summer, the Kalashnikov Concern showed a new GP-46 under-barrel grenade launcher in Azerbaijan . It is also known that there are Soviet MiG-29 fighters in the republic's park.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the manufacturer of Su-57 fighters put into operation unique equipment.
