Notifications about missing people will appear on "Gosuslugi"

From 2026, users will be able to subscribe to alerts and appoint a trusted person to speed up the search

From 2026, a new function will appear on the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services ("Gosuslugi") that will allow users to receive notifications about missing people. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev at the forum of the LizaAlert volunteer search and rescue team.

We believe that every user of "Gosuslugi" should have the opportunity to give consent in order to receive notifications about missing people. When, conditionally, those people who have agreed to receive them, to participate in the program, will receive them through a mobile application in the territory in which the searches are carried out. We believe that next year we will be able to launch this option. And everyone will be able to subscribe
Maksut Shadayev, head of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation

According to him, the function will not be enabled by default: the user makes the decision to subscribe.

The Ministry of Digital Development expects that the integration of the service with "Gosuslugi" will significantly increase the number of search participants. Today, the portal has about 120 million registered users, and the daily audience reaches 10–11 million people.

In addition to notifications, it is planned to introduce a mechanism for appointing a trusted person for portal users. By analogy with the institution of trusted persons when changing a password, a trusted person will be able to quickly access the geo-tracks of missing people without having to go to court, which will speed up the work of search services.
