Paid features, including channel monetization and advertising, may appear in the Max messenger. Andrey Svintsov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications, announced plans to introduce new platform capabilities.
According to him, the service will develop a monetization model, providing users with the opportunity to create paid channels, promote companies and goods, and subscribe to video content.
"For example, a company pays money, and, by analogy with Telegram, some kind of window pops up at the end of each message," Svintsov noted, emphasizing that he considers this format of platform development relevant.
