And the turret rotates, and it saves from drones: Russian military shows modernized T-72B3 with "Hedgehog"-type protection

The tank received additional anti-drone protection, which maintains the mobility of the turret and increases its survivability in battle

The Russian military presented a T-72B3 tank modernized with their own hands, equipped with additional "Hedgehog"-type anti-drone protection and electronic warfare systems. Such designs have already become a familiar means of protecting armored vehicles, although their appearance often resembles elements of post-apocalyptic weapons.

Until more technological drone countermeasures appear, tanks continue to be reinforced with non-standard solutions. According to the military, this protection not only allows the turret to rotate freely, but also significantly increases the chances of the vehicle surviving drone strikes attacking from all angles.

Practical experience shows that, despite their appearance, tanks with such designs live longer and more effectively resist modern threats than vehicles without additional protection.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the "Poseidon" carrier, the Khabarovsk nuclear submarine, received a water-jet propulsion unit to reduce noise.
