The new modern Sinara-6254 trolleybus, produced by Sinara — Transport Machines (STM), has been launched on route 17 (from the Moldavskaya stop to the Central bus station) in Chelyabinsk. This was reported by the press service of the Chelyabinsk Trolleybus concession project.
Now our team serves six routes, and 81 new modern Sinara-6254 trolleybuses will run daily.
Sergey Brusnik, General Director of the project, expressed confidence that route No. 17 will be in demand among citizens. Sinara-6254 trolleybuses will ensure accessibility to one of the main hubs of the city, he added.
In the future, it is planned to extend this route along Chicherina Street to Salavat Yulaev, where a new contact network is already ready, as well as to the Solnechny Bereg stop due to the autonomous running function.
About the Sinara-6254 Trolleybus
The prototype of the trolleybus was created in 2022. Serial production of the Sinara-6254 began in 2023. Currently, this model is supplied to several cities in Russia, with more than 65% of deliveries going to Chelyabinsk.
