Новый киберфизический полигон открыли в Приамурском государственном университете

The training ground will help prepare engineers in real-world conditions

At Priamursky State University named after Sholom-Aleichem (PSU), work has begun on a cyber-physical training ground designed for practical and research training of students, including for the mining industry. According to the university's press service, training programs at the training ground will be implemented with the participation of students from the "R-School."

The training ground allows students to work in conditions as close as possible to industrial ones, solving non-standard tasks.
Natalia Bazhenova, Rector of PSU

The cyber-physical training ground combines virtual and physical objects. As part of the first cycle of classes, an energy system model was launched according to the standards of the Federal Grid Company, which allows monitoring the operation of protective algorithms of the power grid in real time under various emergency scenarios.

The training ground also trains engineers using a virtual model of a ore flotation process control system – one of the key technologies in the mining and processing industry.

In laboratory work, students develop a system for regulating the degree of opening of valves that control the movement of the mixture between chambers. Instead of an expensive installation, a real-time process model is used.
