Crane ship "Grigory Prosyankin" capsized in Sevastopol

The heavy floating crane is capable of lifting loads up to 700 tons

A floating crane capsized while performing work in the South Bay of Sevastopol, on the territory of the marine plant. As a result of the incident, two people died and more than twenty were injured. This is reported by the Telegram channel of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Crimea and Sevastopol.

According to the local publication Forpost, the unfinished PK-700 Grigory Prosyankin heavy floating crane (lifting capacity 700 tons) of Sevmorzavod overturned.

Emergency and rescue services are currently working at the scene. The consequences are being eliminated together with the plant workers and representatives of various organizations.

The laying of "Grigory Prosyankin" (named after one of the creators of the Soviet atomic fleet) took place in 2018. In 2020, Sevmorzavod carried out a technological launching of the main part of the pontoon of the left side, a year later - the right side.

Earlier www1.ru reported that a new mechanism for rotating the solar panels of the Express-RV satellite was manufactured by specialists of the "RESHETNEV" company.
