Russia has sent various military equipment worth $53 million to Uganda. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Russian Embassy in the African republic.
The diplomatic mission specified that the official acceptance ceremony was attended by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, Russian Ambassador Vladlen Semivolos, and Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs Jacob Oboth.
Museveni thanked his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on social network X for the military assistance, noting that "this support is very important." He recalled that Russia is a historical and very good friend of Africa.
Rostec noted that the state corporation will help promote Russian military products on the world market. A training course was organized for specialists in this field.
