On the morning of October 27, residents of Moscow and the Moscow region observed a bright object in the sky, leaving a fiery trail behind it. It was seen in various cities of the Moscow region.
The object with a greenish glow was captured, presumably, in the area of Rublevskoe highway. The Chazov house in Krylatskoye is visible in the recording. According to reports, not only Muscovites, but also residents of Ramenskoye, Krasnogorsk, Fryazino, Lyubertsy and other cities of the Moscow region witnessed the unusual phenomenon.
A bright moving flash was recorded around 6:30 am Moscow time.
Experts explained that the green color is given by nickel, and the white color is given by magnesium - they are used to make parts for space technology. These two materials are the main ones in the space industry.
The object's speed was too slow for a meteorite, making space debris the most likely explanation.
