Rosstandart plans to implement a pilot project in 2026 dedicated to public assessments of the quality of work at gas stations (AZS). This was announced at the All-Russian Forum of Control Bodies.
The project is planned to be presented for broad public discussion in early 2026, and its pilot launch is scheduled for mid-2026.
Forum participants discussed tools for public assessment of businesses. It will be assigned based on the results of inspections.
Gas stations will be in the control zone, as automotive fuel is considered a basic necessity, and its quality affects the safety of citizens and the country's economy.
The head of Rosstandart, Anton Shalaev, explained that the project will allow citizens to receive information about the quality of fuel sold at gas stations.
