В России создают ассоциацию «Новая технологическая коалиция» для разработки человекоподобных роботов

Companies and universities are investing over 400 million rubles in the project at the start

Russia is creating the "New Technological Coalition" (NTC), which will unite companies and universities to develop anthropomorphic (humanoid) robots. This was reported by Vedomosti on October 18. In the first stage, participants invested about 404 million rubles and plan to attract from 2.4 to 4 billion rubles of additional investments.

The NTC intends to include "Promobot", "Double Yu Expo", "Idol", "Robot Corporation", Perm Polytechnic (PNIPU), Kazan Technical University (KAI), St. Petersburg LETI and Tomsk University TUSUR.

Alexey Yuzhakov, co-founder of "Promobot" and founder of "Double Yu Expo", said that the coalition will focus on creating a domestic technological platform and localizing key components for the production of humanoid systems. The Collective Use Center of the Federal Center for Unmanned Aviation Systems will also be involved in the project.

Each member of the association will take on a separate area: "Promobot" will be responsible for the industrial base and platform solutions, "Double Yu Expo" for human-machine interaction systems, "Idol" for stabilization and movement technologies, and "Robot Corporation" for implementation and feedback from customers.

The project involves the creation of a fully Russian platform with its own architecture, software and critical nodes. The launch of the NTC is scheduled for mid-November, the preparatory phase is now being completed and a program of research and development work is being formed.
