Live Photos of Lada Azimut Prototype with Automatic Transmission and New Options Appear

First Photos of the Next-Generation Crossover from the Pilot Production Batch Published

The photo shows for the first time the Lada Azimut prototype from the first pilot production batch assembled at AvtoVAZ. The images were published by Avtopotok.

Judging by the shots, one can imagine what the production version of the future crossover will look like. The interior features a digital instrument panel, a glass panoramic roof, and an automatic transmission. It is also noted that bypass plastic is used, from which, in particular, decorative elements such as the hub cover of the steering wheel are made.

Although the "automatic" selector is visible in the photo, it is probably a variator similar to the one installed on the Lada Vesta. In the future, the model should receive a 150-horsepower turbo engine and a classic 6-speed automatic transmission. According to preliminary data, the appearance of the "automatic" selector will remain the same as that of the variator.

The serial production of Lada Azimut is scheduled for 2026, presumably at the end of the year. The model will be AvtoVAZ's first new-generation crossover and is expected to be offered with a wide range of modern options, including digital services and advanced driver assistance systems.
