Roboavia has officially unveiled its new, advanced Klin kamikaze drone. A feature of the device is an automatic target acquisition system and the possibility of an air detonation of the warhead.
The aerodynamic design of the Klin repeats the "flying wing" scheme implemented in the Kub-BLA and Lancet-3 drones.
A significant improvement of the Klin is the presence of movable surfaces of the front empennage (horizontal and vertical). This design significantly improves aerodynamic characteristics, providing increased stability and controllability at high angles of attack, as well as increasing the maneuverability of the device.
According to the developer, the drone can attack targets by diving at angles up to 70°, at a high speed of 250-300 km/h, which allows it to evade detection by air defense systems. Before diving, the drone can perform a "hill" maneuver, reaching a maximum height of 2 thousand meters.
The mass of the fragmentation or cumulative warhead of the drone is 5 kg. This is enough to destroy light and heavy armored vehicles in the weakened upper projection, as well as infantry.
Earlierwww1.ru reported thatthe new modernized Yak-130M aircraft has already been dubbed the killer of "enemy mosquito aviation."
