Russia will actively introduce digital technologies, production robotization, and artificial intelligence (AI) in the agro-industrial complex (AIC). This was stated by President Vladimir Putin in his congratulatory message on the occasion of the Day of Agriculture and Processing Industry Worker.
We will stimulate our own scientific developments in the field of selection and genetics, in the production of agricultural machinery and food equipment, and new veterinary drugs.
According to the head of state, it is necessary to strengthen the competitiveness and technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation in the AIC. All this is a task for federal, regional, and local authorities, as well as for business, he summarized.
