Russian developer "GAMMA Tech" presented the universal automated design system (CAD) "GAMMA" at the "ITPARK FEST 2025" festival.
CAD "GAMMA" is a domestic system for automated design and modeling of complex high-frequency radio-electronic systems. It is used for the development of antenna systems, RF and microwave printed circuit boards, resonators, elements of microwave circuits (filters, dividers, transmission lines).
"GAMMA" includes the ability to work with imported S-matrices, automatic optimization and tuning, assessment of the mutual influence of antennas and analysis of their characteristics, as well as calculation of radio wave propagation.
The system includes the main operating modes:
- Finite element method in the frequency domain (FEM) and finite difference time domain method (FDTD).
- Human body mode — the impact and influence of EM waves on tissues and antennas of portable radio devices.
- Three-dimensional electromagnetic (EM) modeling.
- Support for high-performance computing (HPC, including acceleration on video cards (GPU).
- Antenna array analysis mode.
CAD "GAMMA" is already used in various fields — in the defense industry (radar stations, radio reconnaissance, communications), in enterprises developing high-frequency and microwave modules for wireless communications, the Internet of Things and navigation, as well as in laboratories and universities. The system has combined import-substituting domestic software and made it possible to not depend on foreign software.
