The Rostec State Corporation, through its Azimuth company, is testing a new unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with a fuselage entirely printed on a 3D printer. The device has a "tube" shape with a robotic front end.
After successful tests with the simulation of the main external conditions, we started testing at the training ground to confirm the characteristics of the product in accordance with the requirements of the technical specifications.
The development takes into account the shortcomings of existing drones, such as copters and models with vertical takeoff.

The main tasks of the new drone include monitoring territories, identifying anomalies, and delivering medical materials without additional cargo boxes. Rostec believes that the product will be cheaper and more reliable than existing systems.
