The company explained the measure by changes in technological and organizational working conditions, as well as the desire to retain highly qualified specialists and prevent mass layoffs among personnel.

UVZ emphasized that the reduced schedule will affect a "limited number of specialists" in the civilian segment.

Employees affected by the changes were offered to transfer to production areas with secured orders, as well as undergo retraining for new working professions. The company added that the stability of the enterprise is ensured through diversification of production.

Employees involved in the execution of the state defense order will not be affected by the transition to a four-day week. As a reminder, UVZ's flagship product is the T-90M "Proryv" tank.
