The new Atom electric car was presented at the InRussia International Forum, which is taking place in Mineralnye Vody. The governor of the region, Vladimir Vladimirov, stated that the presentation of the car was one of the high-profile premieres of the forum.
The car was entirely created in Russia. We are working with our long-time partner, Rosatom, so that "Atoms" will be on routes around the region as taxis as early as next year.
According to him, the region is actively developing infrastructure for electric vehicles. There are already 64 fast charging stations operating in the Stavropol Krai, and another 40 will appear in the coming months.
The future is in Russian technologies.
The Russian Atom electric car is a compact urban electric vehicle with a range of up to 500 km and a battery capacity of 77 kWh. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 8 seconds and is equipped with fast charging: 8 minutes of charging provides 100 km of range. The Atom is equipped with modern driver assistance systems - adaptive cruise control, parking and lane keeping. Its features include swing doors without a central pillar, as well as a digital panel with the possibility of personalization through the application.
