Russian mobile anti-drone units have begun using Chinese compact all-weather X/Ku-band radars designed to identify small and large enemy unmanned aerial vehicles.
This innovation significantly increases the efficiency of detecting and neutralizing drones, especially in difficult weather conditions, when visual observation is difficult or impossible.
X/Ku-band radars are characterized by high accuracy and detection range, which allows timely detection of approaching drones and taking the necessary measures for protection. This is especially important in a dynamically changing tactical situation, when reaction speed plays a crucial role.
The radar will be used in tandem with operators of anti-aircraft FPV drones, providing them with accurate target designation. In the near future, this process can be automated, and MRLS of this type will be able to automatically transmit commands to interceptor drones, such as "Yolka", "Gus-7M" and "Archangel", to intercept enemy UAVs-"kamikaze".
Earlier www1.ru reported that the unique micro-UAV "Karakurt-R" from the "Kalashnikov" concern was shown at the "Innoprom. Belarus" exhibition.
