Бизнес требует навести порядок в реестре отечественного ПО: компании теряются в нагромождении программ

Almost a third of the 28,000 solutions fall into one category — "specific industry tasks"

The Russian software registry, which was supposed to be the mainstay for import substitution, has turned into a cumbersome and confusing list. Today, it includes almost 28,000 solutions, but a third of them (33%) fall into the same class — "Systems for solving specific industry tasks." This section includes everything from complex ERP systems to highly specialized applications for specific industries.

The situation is of particular concern to large businesses. Representatives of the oil and gas sector stated that it has become impossible to navigate such an array. Rinat Gainullin, Head of Corporate Business Architecture Development Programs at Gazprom Neft, appealed to the Ministry of Digital Development with a proposal to more carefully check new applications and assign more accurate categories to programs. According to him, without revising the approach, the register ceases to fulfill its function — to help companies find suitable domestic solutions.

The initiative was also supported by industry competence centers. Experts propose not only to clarify the classification criteria, but also to divide too broad groups of programs so as not to blur their purpose. Currently, according to business estimates, enterprises mainly use a limited set of well-known domestic products, and tens of thousands of others are simply lost among duplicate or unstructured records.
