Russian military personnel will begin using the "Slon" cargo quadcopter to send supplies to remote areas by the end of 2025. This was stated by an official representative of GC "Groza."
"Slon" has already been tested at the training ground and in combat conditions. The heavy-lift drone received a positive conclusion from the Main Directorate of Innovative Development of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (GUIR MO RF), as well as a recommendation for delivery to the troops.
A representative of "Groza" added that in the future, developers will expand the functionality of the quadcopter.
We are working on special versions of "Slon" for transporting special equipment, electronic warfare equipment, performing combat missions for mining, and bombing. This is a multifunctional platform.
Characteristics of the "Slon" drone:

- Normal working weight — 80 kg
- Flight range — up to 15 km (with a weight of up to 80 kg)
