The Belarusian-assembled Belgee S50 sedan may become a more affordable alternative to the Chinese Geely Emgrand. The price difference, according to preliminary data, will be about 150 thousand rubles, depending on the configuration.
The basic Active version is equipped with 15-inch stamped wheels, air conditioning (or single-zone climate control for automatic transmission), halogen headlights, heated front seats and two airbags. The Style trim adds 16-inch alloy wheels, a rear-view camera, cruise control and LED optics.
The top-end Prestige version features 17-inch wheels, keyless entry, an electric sunroof, eco-leather trim, electric adjustment of the driver's seat, heated steering wheel and an extended set of safety systems. This configuration also includes a digital instrument panel, an enlarged 12.3-inch media system display and integration with iOS smartphones. It was previously reported that the Prestige will cost 2.16 million rubles, excluding possible discounts.
Market experts note that Belgee S50, despite its attractive price, is unlikely to significantly increase its share in the Russian market. According to Nikolai Ivanov, Sales Director of Rolf, its indicator will remain at the level of 10%.
