Vladimir Putin's visit to "Motovilikhinskiye Zavody" drew the attention of the Telegram channel "Military Informant," which noted the features of the weapons exposition. The 155-mm "Msta-S" SPG and its 152-mm variant were prominently displayed, with the 152-mm "Coalition-SV" behind them. Both systems have recognizable muzzle brakes, but the "Coalition-SV" also has a unique cradle.
Nevertheless, the question of why the "Coalition-SV" is absent from the Russian army remains without official comment.
During this period of uncertainty, other models have appeared in similar expositions and official videos, such as the "Hyacinth-K" with new long-range guided projectiles. However, information about the 2S35 "Coalition-SV" continues to be unclear for over a year.
Perhaps the reason for the silence lies in the technological difficulties associated with the production and implementation of such an innovative system. It is possible that additional tests and refinements were required to achieve the required levels of reliability and efficiency. Economic factors, which could have affected the pace of serial production deployment, should also not be discounted.
The "Coalition-SV" is a 152-mm self-propelled artillery gun (SPG), a representative of the new generation of wheeled self-propelled artillery. The howitzer is mounted on the T-90 tank platform.
