Уникальную установку для трехступенчатой регенерации технических масел создали в ПримГАТУ

The technology will reduce the cost of equipment maintenance

An innovative unit has been created at the Primorsky State Agricultural and Technological University that allows the recovery of used technical oils for reuse. The development is focused on the needs of agriculture and may be in demand even by small farms. This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

According to the authors of the project, most farmers today are forced to dispose of oils "spontaneously": burn them or use the simplest filtration. Traditional regeneration technologies — vacuum distillation or acid-alkaline cleaning — remain too expensive and require the use of aggressive chemicals.

The new Primorsky State Agricultural and Technological University unit uses multi-stage physical and mechanical processing. First, separation and filtration take place, removing water and solid impurities. Then, a evaporation-condensation module is activated, which separates the main fraction of the base oil and removes light fractions with water vapor. The result is a product that meets the requirements for reuse. The design is protected by a patent.

Our goal is to provide agricultural producers with an affordable solution that will extend the life of lubricants and reduce the cost of equipment maintenance
Project Manager, Associate Professor Alexander Redkokashin

According to him, the unit effectively removes mechanical impurities, water and resinous formations, significantly increasing the oil's lifespan.

The possibility of oil regeneration directly reduces farmers' expenses, makes their work more sustainable and reduces dependence on imported petroleum products.

The development of students at Primorsky State Agricultural and Technological University demonstrates that affordable and environmentally friendly solutions can be born at the level of regional universities. If the technology receives industrial implementation, Russian farmers will be able to save money and contribute to environmental protection at the same time.
